At Margaret Elise Branyan Barker, P.C., we help our clients by offering premium legal
services. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Smith College, in Massachusetts and my law degree from Washington
University, in St. Louis. Missouri.
I
have been licensed to practice law in Springfield, Missouri, since 1983. I represented the poor in Southwestern Missouri
as a State Public Defender for 8 years, a Federal Public Defender for years and have been in private practice since
2004.
My practise is concentrated on
representing families with issues involving the juvenile courts, as well as adoption and guardianship cases. I
also represent clients charged with traffic offense, misdemeanors and felonies, in Municipal, State and Federal
Court.
